Britlee's Homecoming

Britlee went to homecoming last weekend. She had a wonderful time and although you can't tell from the first photo, she was very excited ! It was fun helping her shop for a dress with her auntie Beth. We found the perfect one for a great price.

This is her first year at Liberty High School. She spent her previous 2 years at Glencoe, but this year the boundaries changed she had to swap schools. At first she was miserable, until one day in her math class she noticed Antonio sitting there. Then school wasn't so bad after all.

Antonio and her just celebrated there 2 week anniversary. He has spent a few afternoons over here, enough to get her mothers seal of approval. He plays on the Varsity and Jr Varsity football teams at Liberty. She even went to see one of his games ! but was texting me the whole time about how cold she was.

Anyhow back to homecoming. Mom helped with hair and makeup (which she normally doesnt wear) and she made the last minute choice to wear flip flops for shoes (better to dance in I suppose) I picked up the couple after the dance and took them to Sonic for banana splits! Brit says they danced almost every dance (this was her first dance attending as a date with someone) and come home with there own special song.

My daughter is so beautiful, funny, smart, sweet and from what I hear a great dancer and I am very proud of her !
